Meet Our Acupuncturist
Dr Dyan Vincent
Dyan is the owner/founder of Dynamic Acupuncture and Health in Westborough, MA.
Dyan has completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture. While only a Master's degree is required in Massachusetts, Dyan wanted to take the extra step to obtain the highest degree the field offers.
Dyan is a Trauma Informed practitioner. Dyan has studied how Acupuncture can help people integrate the physical symptoms of an emotionally traumatic experience. Some of these experiences could be as universal as living through the pandemic or as unique as falling out of a tree as a kid or any of a number of adverse life events. Acupuncture provides a wonderful compliment to talk therapy to help manage mild to moderate anxiety or depression.
Dyan has completed training in Dry Needling for Acupuncturists. This approach to Trigger Point therapy has been helpful for many patients experiencing Orthopedic pain. Dyan has over 3000 hours of experience. Dyan needles all day, everyday and is confident that you will be content with her approach.
Dyan has completed a lengthy training course for Acupuncture for Oncology patients and cancer survivors. Many symptoms can be managed with regular Acupuncture including nausea, digestive discomfort, poor appetite, sleep issues and fatigue.
Acupuncture can help soothe grief & anxiety, calm anger & worry and people with depression can find a light at the end of the tunnel.
Additionally, Dyan has been a massage therapist for many years. She studied the Myofascial Meridians / Anatomy Trains with Tom Myers, and completed his 500 hour training as a Structural Integration Therapist in 2016. She continues to use the knowledge from this method today, as she figures out how to balance her patient's body. Please note that Dyan no longer offers this style of Bodywork.
Dyan has been a Yoga Instructor for over 24 years and taught fitness classes and Pilates Reformer for many years in the Westborough area. She is a Yoga Therapist and loves to share key stretches and exercises to enhance each person's condition
